Basketball Recap: Beloit Trojans vs. Smith Center Redmen
Beloit won the last time they faced Smith Center and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Beloit Trojans skirted past the Smith Center Redmen 38-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since January 14th.
Beloit had a senior duo take command as Addison Budke dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds and Cassandra Thompson dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Thompson has become a key player for Beloit: the team is 8-4 when she posts at least eight boards, but 3-4 otherwise.
