Baldwin-Woodville is 9-1 against Amery since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blackhawks will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Baldwin-Woodville is looking for their season's first win.

Baldwin-Woodville had taken New Richmond down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Blackhawks fell 8-4 to the Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Blackhawks have lost by exactly four runs.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Amery). They never let Clear Lake get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Monday. Amery hasn't had any issues with Clear Lake recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Levi Thayer looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Mikey Kelly was a standout: he scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Morrissey, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Amery was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Amery's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Baldwin-Woodville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Baldwin-Woodville suffered a grim 9-3 defeat to Amery when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Blackhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
