Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Alter Falls Despite Big Games from Bella Markowski and Maya Regalla

Archbishop Alter was the 2-1 winner over West Liberty-Salem when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Archbishop Alter had strong showings from Maya Regalla, who had 11 digs, and Bella Markowski, who had 12 assists. Rylan Cwiklik also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Archbishop Alter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for West Liberty-Salem, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.

Coming up, Archbishop Alter will take on Bishop Fenwick at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Liberty-Salem, they will challenge Madison Plains at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
