Recap: Spring Garden Panthers vs. Sand Rock Wildcats
The Spring Garden Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 26 points or more this season. They blew past Sand Rock, posting a 66-38 win on the road. Spring Garden's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Sand Rock's loss on Tuesday came despite strong showings from Katelyn St.Clair and Kennedy Henderson. St.Clair scored 21 points along with six rebounds, while Henderson scored eight points along with ten rebounds. St.Clair scored a full 55.3% of Sand Rock's points, the tenth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Spring Garden's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 55.33 points. As for Sand Rock, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.
Spring Garden will head out on the road to face off against Oxford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Oxford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Tuesday. Sand Rock and Brentwood will round out the year against one another at 11:00 a.m. on December 28th at.
