Volleyball Recap: East Lawrence Wins Going Away Against Fairview + How To Watch

East Lawrence not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 29, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Fairview Aggies as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

While East Lawrence won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-22.

Cheyenne Hackett was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 30 assists and six digs. Those 30 assists gave her a new career-high.

East Lawrence's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Fairview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

East Lawrence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Lexington on the 28th. Hopefully Fairview paid attention to the Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
