Softball Game Preview: Midview Middies vs. Avon Eagles

The Midview Middies will challenge the Avon Eagles at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Midview has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Midview is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They lost 11-1 to North Ridgeville.

Midview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savannah Presser, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Avon came up short against Berea-Midpark on Thursday and fell 9-5. The Eagles have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Midview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Avon, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
