Basketball Recap: Jonesboro Finds Home Court Redemption Against Aquilla

There's no place like home for Jonesboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They enjoyed a cozy 47-32 victory over the Aquilla Cougars on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Jonesboro now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Aquilla, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Evant the next time they take the court. Jonesboro will head out to face Evant at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Aquilla will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
