There's no place like home for Christian Community, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Reimer Road Baptist Christian Golden Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Golden Eagles back in August, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Christian Community had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-21, 25-9, 25-17.

Gili Kawczak paced Christian Community's offense, picking up six kills. Kawczak really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Felicity Kawczak, racking up three apiece.

With the win, Christian Community broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5. As for Reimer Road Baptist Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Reimer Road Baptist Christian beat Christian Community by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.
