Volleyball Recap: Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Comes Up Short

Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-5, 25-12.

Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy will challenge rival Christian Family Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pinnacle Classical Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Community Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
