Soccer Game Preview: Pana vs. Hillsboro

Pana is 1-9 against Hillsboro since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Panthers will look to defend their home pitch against the Hiltoppers at 4:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Tuesday, Pana didn't have quite enough to beat Greenville and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Hillsboro lost 4-1 to Effingham on Wednesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Hillsboro were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Lennon Guinn, who's now up to eight this season.

Hillsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4-1. As for Pana, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1.
