            Baseball Recap: Buffalo Bison vs. Eden Prairie Eagles

The Bison have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

 AIDEN MARCONETT put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out nine batters over  5.2 innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   four  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  runs. That  home run marked the first that  he has  launched this season.
 In other batting news,  ISAAC HILL made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-2 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
Buffalo's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Eden Prairie, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-4.
 Coming up, Buffalo will challenge Edina at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Bison's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 6.5  runs per game this season. As for Eden Prairie, they will welcome Hopkins  at 7:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The last three games the Royals have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
