Escalon lost to Ripon Christian back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Escalon Cougars skirted past the Ripon Christian Knights 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Ripon Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Anneke Dyt, who had 21 digs, and Tatum Sonke, who had 12 digs and two aces. Dyt is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.
Escalon's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-10. As for Ripon Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-14.
