Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burbank). They were the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over the Monroe Vikings on Tuesday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Vikings are ranked 470th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Burbank's offense was hitting Monroe from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Davit Tadevosyan led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Burbank has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-1-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five matches. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Burbank has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Agoura on the 12th. As for Monroe, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Verdugo Hills on the 11th.
