Baseball Recap: West Rowan Takes a Loss

West Rowan fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Lake Norman Charter on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lake Norman Charter Knights by a score of 3-2. The Falcons have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

West Rowan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Graham, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

West Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lake Norman Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, West Rowan will welcome Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Norman Charter, they will venture away from home to square off against Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games Lake Norman Charter has played (dating back to last season) have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
