Recap: Duchesne Eagles vs. Enterprise Wolves
It was a good run, but The Duchesne Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Enterprise 18-12. Duchesne has struggled against Enterprise recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Enterprise's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden Drake, who rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Drake was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyron Bracken, who rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown.
Duchesne's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Enterprise, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.
Duchesne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Enterprise will take on Beaver at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Beaver is ranked 39th, while Enterprise is ranked 51st).
