Preview: Dorsey Dons vs. Bernstein Dragons

The Dorsey Dons will head out on the road to face off against the Bernstein Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dorsey is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.

Dorsey lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Wednesday was a bit more commanding. They were dealt a 72-29 loss at the hands of George Washington Prep. Dorsey has not had much luck with the Generals recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Bernstein can now show off 17 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Belmont 97-35 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 65-21.

Bernstein's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Troy Agtang, who scored 22 points along with two steals. Agtang has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Cordero, who scored 17 points along with three steals.

Dorsey has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for Bernstein, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Dorsey didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Dragons in their previous meeting back in December of 2016, but they still walked away with a 64-59 win. Will Dorsey repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
