Basketball Recap: Schaumburg Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Nathan Peterson and Krystian Bogacz

Schaumburg Christian was the 67-29 winner over Harvest-Westminster when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Conquerors took a 73-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warrior-Lions on Monday.

Schaumburg Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Krystian Bogacz and Nathan Peterson. Bogacz went 8-for-10 en route to 22 points, while Peterson shot 64% from the field on his way to 18 points. Arnold Wicen was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

Harvest-Westminster was led to victory by Leo Szwic and Zander Langfeld. Szwic posted 18 points, while Langfeld scored 16 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Foster, who earned ten points.

Looking ahead, Schaumburg Christian and St. Edward will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Harvest-Westminster, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
