Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Friday. Phelps blew past Springdale Prep 4-1. The result was nothing new for Phelps, who have now won 12 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Phelps' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Springdale Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Phelps will challenge South Kent School at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Springdale Prep, they will square off against Christchurch School at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
