Holly has gone 9-1 against Flushing recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bronchos will head out to challenge the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Holly and nine for Flushing.

Holly came into this matchup off a tough 15-run loss on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Swartz Creek by a score of 7-5 on Monday.

Alyssa Bowman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Molly Charboneau (SVSU) was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Flushing's offense. They lost 17-0 to Fenton on Monday.

Holly's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Flushing, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Holly took their victory against Flushing when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 13-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bronchos since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
