Basketball Recap: Morris Comes Up Short

Morris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost to the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers at home by a 67-52 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-48 back in December of 2024.

Morris' record now sits at 7-14. As for LaSalle-Peru, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

Morris will face off against Newark at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Newark is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.1 points per game this season. As for LaSalle-Peru, they will be playing at home against Kaneland at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
