Basketball Game Preview: Westmoreland Eagles vs. Colonial Beach Drifters

The Westmoreland Eagles will host the Colonial Beach Drifters at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Westmoreland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They managed a 41-36 victory over Essex. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Colonial Beach didn't have too much trouble with West Point on Thursday as they won 41-27.

Colonial Beach has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.9 points over those games. Westmoreland's win bumped their record up to 18-2.
