Basketball Game Preview: Eastwood Eagles vs. Edison Chargers

The Eastwood Eagles will square off against the Edison Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastwood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Eastwood is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Lake by a score of 50-42 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Edison ended up a good deal behind Margaretta on Saturday and lost 43-29. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 344th, while the Polar Bears are ranked 37th).

Eastwood's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Eastwood strolled past Edison when the teams last played back in November of 2023 by a score of 63-47. Will Eastwood repeat their success, or does Edison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
