Football Recap: Brookline Takes a Loss

Brookline lost against Wellesley back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors came up short against the Raiders, falling 41-19. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-6.

Brookline is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Wellesley, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brookline will challenge Greater Lowell Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wellesley, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Newton North at 6:00 p.m. on the 17th.
