Basketball Game Preview: Washington Patriots vs. Martinsburg Bulldogs

Washington hasn't had much luck against Martinsburg recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Washington Patriots will challenge the Martinsburg Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Washington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Washington is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They snuck past Musselman with a 62-58 win. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Applemen recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Martinsburg faced Morgantown in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Saturday. Martinsburg took a hard 75-59 fall against Morgantown. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Mohigans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Martinsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Washington beat Martinsburg 66-54 when the teams last played back in February. Will Washington repeat their success, or does Martinsburg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
