Soccer Game Preview: Victory Prep Academy vs. Rocky Mountain Lutheran

The Victory Prep Academy Knights will challenge the Rocky Mountain Lutheran Eagles at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Victory Prep Academy turned things around against Denver Eagles Christian HomeSchool two weeks ago. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Eagles 2-1.

Max Villela Basurto and Andrew De La Torre scored both of Victory Prep Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, Rocky Mountain Lutheran was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. They and Mile High Academy finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw.

Victory Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. Rocky Mountain Lutheran's draw gives them a new season record of 6-6-2.
