While Charlestown put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for O'Bryant. The Townies blew past the Tigers 8-0. Considering the Townies have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Charlestown, bringing their record up to 9-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for O'Bryant, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Charlestown will welcome South Boston at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Townies are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for O'Bryant, they will head out on the road to challenge Brighton/Boston Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
