Recap: Blackford Bruins vs. Anderson Prep Academy Jets
The Blackford Bruins stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 58-19 win over Anderson Prep Academy at home. With Blackford ahead 31-9 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Blackford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chloe Wicker led the charge by going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wicker has scored all season. Sydnee Morris was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Blackford and bumps their season record up to 16-5. As for Anderson Prep Academy, they bumped their record down to 10-9 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Blackford will be playing in front of their home fans against Frankton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Anderson Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Indiana School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
