Soccer Recap: Eastern Hills Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Eastern Hills lost against Benbrook back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eastern Hills Highlanders lost 8-0 to the Benbrook Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Highlanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 676th, while the Bobcats are ranked 314th).

Eastern Hills' defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four games. As for Benbrook, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Eastern Hills will take on Carter-Riverside at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Benbrook, they will challenge Young Women's Leadership Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
