Football Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Chiles

Chiles won the last time they faced FAMU DRS and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Timberwolves walked away with an 18-6 victory over the Baby Rattlers. Given the Timberwolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Baby Rattlers are ranked 295th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chiles pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.0 points on average over those games. As for FAMU DRS, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Chiles will take on Choctawhatchee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Timberwolves 6.1, the Indians 10) so any points scored will be well earned. As for FAMU DRS, they have already played their next game, a 7-6 win against Rickards on the 2nd.
