It was a good run, but Chilton unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 48-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valders Vikings. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-49 back in December of 2024.

Chilton's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Valders, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Chilton Tigers challenge the Brillion Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valders, they will face off against Kewaunee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kewaunee knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Valders likes a good challenge.
