It was a good run, but Kirbyville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Warren Warriors by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Kirbyville's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Warren, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Coming up, Kirbyville will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Beaumont United at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren, they will face off against Deweyville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
