Basketball Recap: Oneida Comes Up Short

Oneida was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 73-56 to the Pigeon Forge Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-36 back in January.

Oneida's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Pigeon Forge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oneida will challenge Oliver Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pigeon Forge, they will head out to take on Austin-East at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
