Volleyball Game Preview: Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars vs. Los Angeles Romans

The Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Los Angeles Romans at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Lake Balboa College Prep turned things around against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology on Friday. They put the hurt on the Griffins with a sharp 3-0 win. The Cougars not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Lake Balboa College Prep walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-22, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Toilers by a score of 3-1.

Los Angeles was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 22-25, 25-14, 25-21.

Los Angeles' win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 2-15.
