Williams Field faced Centennial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Black Hawks fell 2-0 to the Coyotes. The Black Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kate Federico was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 15 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last nine games. Arianna Ortiz also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Williams Field's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Centennial, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.
