St. Raphael Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 77-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Kingstown Rebels. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (61), the Saints still had to take the loss.

South Kingstown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Griffin Sward, who posted 27 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was James Wilson, who scored 23 points and six boards.

St. Raphael Academy is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points over those games. As for South Kingstown, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.
