Waxahachie is a perfect 4-0 against Mesquite since August of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Skeeters at 6:30 p.m. Waxahachie is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Tuesday, Waxahachie got the win against Skyline by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Waxahachie took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-10, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Mesquite narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lancaster 3-2.

Mesquite wouldn't go down easily and took Lancaster into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-12, 16-25, 25-16, 15-11.

Waxahachie's record is now 24-12. As for Mesquite, their record now sits at 7-12.

Everything went Waxahachie's way against Mesquite in their previous matchup back in September, as Waxahachie made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
