They put the hurt on the Tuscaloosa Home Educators Warriors with a sharp  14-4 victory.  On Tuscaloosa Home Educators' side, they got a big performance out of  Jose Giron, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nathan Mercado, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Wiregrass pushed their record up to 4-1 with that  win, which was their tenth straight  on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.8 runs per game. As for Tuscaloosa Home Educators, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
