The North Monterey County Condors will take on the Pacific Grove Breakers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Having struggled with seven losses in a row, North Monterey County turned things around against Rancho San Juan on Thursday. They blew past the Trailblazers 13-2. The Condors not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 5th (when they won 27-8).

Paige Ramirez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). Ramirez was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Meiha Vargas was incredible, going 3-for-5 with six RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Jazzlyn Paniagua was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
North Monterey County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rancho San Juan only posted an OBP of .320.
Meanwhile, Pacific Grove had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against the Padres by a score of 10-7.
Jasmine Booker and Isis Turner did most of the damage at the plate: Booker went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs, while Turner went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Destiny Buckles, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Pacific Grove pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for North Monterey County, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 3-18.
Both North Monterey County and Pacific Grove just can't seem to miss. The Condors have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.7 hits per game. However, it's not like Pacific Grove struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
