Cardinal Gibbons lost against Leesville Road back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Crusaders fell 55-48 to the Pride.

When it comes to explaining why Cardinal Gibbons lost, don't look at CHARLOTTE FUSCO. Despite the final result, she shot 45% from the field on her way to 20 points and four steals. FUSCO is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of JOSEY WILLIS, who posted six points and three steals.

Leesville Road's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Finley Lewis, who went 5-for-12 en route to 11 points in addition to eight boards and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Reaghan Mueller, who earned 13 points and seven rebounds.

Cardinal Gibbons' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Leesville Road, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cardinal Gibbons will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Ravenscroft at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
