Football Recap: Bowdon Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Bowdon had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 26-0 to the Fellowship Christian Paladins on Friday. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Paladins recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fellowship Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jonathan Granby out in front who threw for 187 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 108 yards on only 12 carries. Cj Givers was another key rusher, gaining 109 total yards and two touchdowns.

Coming up, Bowdon will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Macon County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fellowship Christian, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Hebron Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
