Memorial took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They took down Windthorst 61-42.

Meanwhile, Palo Duro posted their closest win since December 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-59 victory over Lubbock-Cooper. The win continues a trend for the Dons in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won nine in a row.

Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 14-19. As for Palo Duro, their win bumped their record up to 27-5.

Memorial couldn't quite finish off Palo Duro when the teams last played back in November of 2024 and fell 63-61. Can Memorial avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
