Football Game Preview: Dickson County Cougars vs. Northeast Eagles + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the Dickson County Cougars and the Northeast Eagles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

It was a proper cat-fight when Dickson County challenged Lawrence County last Friday. The Cougars fell 21-17 to the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 24-0 to Kenwood. The game marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Dickson County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Dickson County against Northeast when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 27-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
