Baseball Recap: Everett Seagulls vs. Snohomish Panthers
Everett had lost six straight at home, but on Monday they dropped down to 4-15 to make it seven. They came up short against the Snohomish Panthers, falling 10-4. If the Seagulls were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Everett saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Brunni, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.
As for Snohomish, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games.
On Snohomish's side, they got a great performance from Trevor Vorderbruggen as he struck out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. At the plate, Snohomish let Landon Klein and Chase Clark run wild. Klein got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, while Clark went 3-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Breckin Davisson, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
While Everett had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
