Softball Recap: Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons Drops Highest Score of Season Against Lyle/Pacelli

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons). They came out on top against the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics by a score of 9-5 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons in their matchups with Lyle/Pacelli: they've now won four in a row.

Maizee Flattum made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Flattum was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That run marked the first that she scored this season.

In other batting news, Lilah Reindal was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Carlie Loock, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Lyle/Pacelli, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
