Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Braves vs. Quincy Trojans

Hamilton has gone 9-1 against Quincy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hamilton Braves will challenge the Quincy Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Hamilton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Hamilton ended up a good deal behind Portola and lost 80-62.

Despite the defeat, Hamilton had strong showings from Kayden Strong, who posted 16 points and five boards, and Case Porter, who scored 20 points and three steals. The match was Strong's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Mateo Cardenas, who put up six points.

Meanwhile, Quincy entered their tilt with Williams on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Yellowjackets with points to spare, taking the game 60-42.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Quincy, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Hamilton couldn't quite finish off Quincy in their previous meeting back in January and fell 61-59. Can Hamilton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
