Basketball Game Preview: Belmond-Klemme Broncos vs. North Iowa Bison

The Belmond-Klemme Broncos will take on the North Iowa Bison in a holiday battle at at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Belmond-Klemme knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully North Iowa likes a good challenge.

Belmond-Klemme is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by North Union to the tune of 72-43 on Tuesday. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Iowa humbled West Bend-Mallard with an 80-49 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bison.

North Iowa's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Belmond-Klemme, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
