While Uwharrie Charter Academy's victory against Eastern Randolph wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Wildcats on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

The win got Uwharrie Charter Academy back to even at 10-10. As for Eastern Randolph, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.
