While Graham Gavin delivered a dominant performance on Monday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Beverly. Nobody could stop Gavin as he struck out 11 batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Gavin and Beverly will be playing in front of their home fans against Peabody Veterans Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
