You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Norte Vista's strategy against La Sierra on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Norte Vista Braves blew the La Sierra Eagles out of the water with an 87-27 final score. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Norte Vista's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryan Ramirez, who went 10 for 16 on his way to 23 points and seven steals. That's the most points Ramirez has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Carter Fulton, who went 10 of 19 en route to 23 points and seven rebounds.

Norte Vista has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for La Sierra, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norte Vista will head out to square off against Jurupa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norte Vista is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games. As for La Sierra, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the La Sierra Eagles take on the Rubidoux Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. La Sierra is facing Rubidoux at the right time seeing as Rubidoux is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
