Football Recap: Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton Takes a Loss

After soaring to 32 points the game before, Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by the Sesser-Valier/Waltonville Red Devils 40-6. The game marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton still got an impressive performance from Guage Schlake, who picked up 70 receiving yards and one TD.

Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Sesser-Valier/Waltonville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.
